Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), is Malaysia’s main international airport and one of the major gateways in the region that connects the West with South East Asia. With a span of 100 km2 the airport serves over 58 million passengers and more than 700,000 tonnes of cargo annually, making it the world’s 23rd-busiest airport by total capacity.

BCG’s scope of work mainly included airside infrastructural works such as, the construction of two runways (RA-01 & RA-02) that are 4000 m long and 60 m wide, the construction of pavements, concrete aprons and taxiways for the preloading bridges. Furthermore, BCG also constructed the track transit tunnel and baggage transit tunnel including all mechanical, electrical and drainage systems associated with the airside construction.
