Thanks be to Almighty Allah for His guidance, which has led us down the correct path and steered us towards participating in development projects on this gracious land of the United Arab Emirates. From prior to the founding of the Union to the present, BCG has relentlessly carried out its mission of delivering the best technical and administrative practices through our various business sectors and units.

We are always keen to achieve the UAE leadership’s grand strategic goals and visions, and we feel confident that Allah will bestow the gift of accomplishing these goals through our diverse resources and competencies.

In 1967, before the formation of the Union, the demanding terrain and a scarcity of resources imposed many challenges on constructing a 120 km asphalt paved highway to link the Emirate of Sharjah with the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. Despite many constraints, we successfully delivered the project with a level of unmatched quality that continues to be a hallmark of our performance to this day.

BCG is privileged to have earned the trust and goodwill of the Government of the United Arab Emirates, which are reflected via opportunities to execute various governmental and private sector projects. These projects have driven our growth and success over the years on the local, regional and global levels. More than 50 years have passed since the foundation of BCG, and we herein assure you of our commitment to continuing our positive contribution towards the success of the construction sector in the UAE.

1968 NORTHERN EMIRATES ROAD

CONNECTING THE UAE

This project represents the steppingstone of BCG’s origins domestically, this was the first paved causeway through the barren desert in northern Emirates that connected Sharjah to Ras Al-Khaimah via Ajman and Umm Al-Quwain in 1968.

The road was built over a 170 km stretch, using advanced techniques for long term sand stabilisation that improve structural integrity and avoid drifting sands during storms and high wind gusts.

BCG also supplied the most premium of tarmacs available at the time of construction that met the highest standards to ensure the safety and comfort of the users.
